Etienne N. Ndedi - Experienced Data Scientist

A Data scientist with over a decade of experience working in different industries, Etienne N. Ndedi has a track record of successfully developing machine learning (ML) models, and leading cross-functional teams in analytical project design, testing, and validation. Etienne has worked for several companies in diverse industries, including banking, healthcare, and biotechnology.

Since 2022, Mr. Ndedi has worked as a data scientist in fraud detection and anti-money laundering (AML) projects at Wells Fargo and Bank of America, while adhering to federal banking regulations and internal audit requirements. He is currently leading AML false negative risk reporting as a Data Scientist and Sr. Quant. Analyst at Bank of America. Prior to Wells Fargo and then Bank of America, Mr. Ndedi served as a data scientist at IQVIA in the Pfizer RIPE Project. He also worked as a data governance manager in the Clinical Data Science (CDS) department at Gilead Life Sciences.

Mr. Ndedi holds a master’s degree in information and data science (MIDS) with a focus on Generative AI from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, he is a Carnegie Mellon University certified Algorithms and Data Structures specialist and a Stanford Certified Program Management (SCPM) graduate.

As an ordained member of a Christian faith community with a Master of Divinity (MDIV), Etienne helps the church leadership incorporate AI and STEM programs into the youths’ spiritual journey as they grapple with rapid change in society. An ethical Data Scientist, Etienne believes that the next civil rights frontier is data ownership.

In his free time, Etienne is an avid soccer player and a supporter of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
